Privacy
Nodes is designed to work with as little of your information as possible. Here is the short, honest version of what that means.
Almost no cookies
Most websites quietly store many things in your browser. Nodes stores almost nothing: just what's needed to keep you signed in when you have an account, and to keep the site safe from automated abuse. That's why you don't see a cookie pop-up here — there's nothing optional to agree to.
Your settings stay with you
Small preferences — like pausing the moving graph on the home page — are remembered by your own browser, on your own device. They are never sent to us.
Page popularity
The home page highlights what people are reading. Views are counted in a way that doesn't identify you or follow you around — no tracking profile is ever built.
Today, no ads or trackers
Nodes currently runs without advertising, third-party analytics, or data sales. If the product changes in ways that affect your privacy, this page will change first, and anything that requires your permission will ask for it.
What you contribute
Anything you post appears under your chosen username — your email address is never shown publicly. Submissions are reviewed before they become visible to others.
